A BRIEF HISTORY OF HDS

In 2005, HDS Securities Ltd was established in Essex to provide a high standard manned security service to the developing security industry.

HDS Securities management, mainly from the security background but not militaristic in its approach, develop a close relationship with its customer to providing a management team able to give prompt client response.

SECURITY CHARGING POLICY

The aim is to provide clients with a quality service within the budgetary availability of the client, and in line with the requirements and specifications of the contract. We believe that it is inept to undertake work at a charge which precludes the achievement and maintenance of the standards required by both the client and the Company.

We believe, therefore, that the hourly rate we pay our staff must be such as to attract and retain the correct calibre of individual to ensure the continuity of the team and the proper motivation and performance of its members.

HDS Securities believes in ‘hands on' management at a local level. Directors, Managers and Supervisors have considerable personal experience in commercial, industrial and service environments. Our security teams operate under locally based direction, a system that ensures that they are well motivated and closely supervised.

A Senior Manager is authorised to take any decision on behalf HDS Securities Ltd without reference to his board, is available 24 hours a day.

All operatives are backed by an effective communication system. Each individual Officer has access to support and advice from Management and Supervisory staff throughout the 24-hour period from Help Desk / Control Room located at the Port of Tilbury.

This policy, plus personal integrity, thorough training and emphasis on smart appearance, creates a security team in which our clients can reliably place their trust.

HDS Security Officers are carefully chosen for their potential tact, patience, and communication skills, they are trained to be alert and responsible. Many of our staff have experience in the Armed Forces or Public Service.
